- How much does monthly financial statement preparation cost?
- It starts at $500/month and is included with monthly bookkeeping, since accurate statements depend on reconciled books. Your exact flat rate depends on transaction volume and how many accounts we manage. You'll get a clear quote on your free call, no hourly surprises.
- Can you just prepare statements without doing my bookkeeping?
- Financial statements are only as accurate as the books behind them, so I prepare them from properly reconciled records. If your books aren't current, we'll usually start with a one-time Catch-Up & Cleanup to get them accurate, then I can prepare and maintain your statements going forward.
- Are these the same as financial statements from a CPA audit?
- No. I prepare management financial statements you can use to run your business and that your CPA can file taxes from. I don't perform audits, reviews, or compilations, which are formal attestation services provided by a licensed CPA firm. If a lender requires an audited statement, I'll prepare the clean books your CPA needs to produce it.
- Do I need to meet in person to go over my financials?
- No. Everything is handled remotely. I prepare your statements in QuickBooks Online from your secure bank connections and walk you through them by phone or video, so you can be anywhere in the DMV or beyond.
